It is safe for food contact once dry, making it ideal for use on kitchen benches, tables, and bathroom surfaces. The oil takes up to four weeks to fully cure, establishing a water barrier during this period. While the finish may feel dry to the touch shortly after application, it is advised to avoid regular use until fully cured, as spills and water may impact the final finish.
